A Few Things that Help

When getting started you are going to want to get air tight jars to keep your grains and beans in like this.  Its okay to get more then you can eat at one time because the jars will keep it fresh.

With fruits, its okay to buy a lot cause they are a great snack and if they start to get to ripe you can just through more in the smoothies so they don't go to waste. In the beginning they help me curb my sweet tooth too.

Another tip is that you might not want to buy all your veggies at one trip to the grocery store.   Go a couple times a week just to make sure that they are fresh, but you have to make it simple for yourself or you will never stick with it.
